It was Cold Sunday Mornin (0 Degrees) We got up to Paulina Peak about 10:30 that Mornin and it had warmed up a bunch...We were Unzippin our Jackets and Leggings tryin to keep from Overheating Ourselves....It was Warm....

and Crater Lake too in the distance.... The day started out cold and the air was as good as it gets these days.....Visibility almost Unlimited.... Beautiful.....
We headed down to the Main Rd and West a bit and decided to head around the South Side of the Crater Down at Low Altitude ......The Snow was Hard and a couple of the sled's were Over Heating so they headed back to the Cabin..... And then there 3 of Us....I had Ice Scratchers.... Handy Sometimes;-))....Headed on around....... We found A Great Lava Flow to play on .... U could go for miles in that Area.... The Snow was Hard and You could go anywhere...... Too bad there wasnt some Powder in there... Dangit.... I didnt get a Pix of it...... I ended up puttin another Bolt in my Starter while John and His Wife played..... We ended up back on the Main Rd east of East Lake.....They had to get back to the Cabin and get ready for the trip home....... I headed out Solo.....East some more.... Got a few more good Pix

I headed East some more and decided to make the rest of the Loop around the North Side too..
As I was progressing around I started seein this bare knob in the distance.... A Fire a few years had started right there...... I mean it burnt it almost clean.... In a few Yrs all the Snags will fall down
and it will be a Fantastic Hill Climbin Hill...
It aint really steep, but with some Powder on it, It'll be a Challenge......Its at least 1/2 mile up there
I was Solo, so I debated climbin it...... I gave in and headed up....Easy Climb with the Snow Condition that day......Was weird after I got up tho.......Damn Hill just kept rollin away from ya...... Ya Couldnt tell how Steep it really was or where ya might end up at the bottom ...... I searched for another way down..... didnt find it, and had to head down the way I came up........The Snow had softened up and I couldnt lock up the brakes.... I went faster..... I wonderin if I was gonna Boil my Brake Fluid before I got down......Made it ok......It'll be easier in the Future........After some of them Damn Snags fall down.......
