We decided to head up to Trout Lake and up the 23 Rd.....  The weather didnt turn out too bad......
Mostly sunny...  Thank god....If  we hadnt have been able to See where we were going we  would have been in real trouble.....
We finally got our first  taste, this season,  of the fabled "Cascade Concrete"  .... The day started out Innocent enough... 6" of new snow......at the Park......And it was Warm......... Then it got Deeper........Pretty soon We were workin pretty hard..... Had to keep on the throttle pretty hard to keep going at all.......  If ya  backed off the  snow came over the hood..... Heavy Stuff..... If ya  had to stop.....Harold took the Lead once and Blew a Perfectly Good Belt in a couple of Miles, and it was on one of the newer "Cool Runnin" Polaris Clutches too.......... Ya  had to shovel it out of the way to get  going again..... If ya  were lucky...... It didnt matter if  ya  were goin down hill even...... Had  to be  attentive  even on the wide  roads .... Some of us  got sucked ,  Almost,   over the edge..... Lots of  Shovel work....The Snow Packed  down Hard if ya  worked it at all........ Perfect Snow Man Building Snow
We didnt get as far as we wanted up in the hills.....Did find a  couple a places to Play..... John's
"Yammi"  seemed to get around the best again today too........Its set up Narrow and was Much Easier to keep headed in the right direction.....He  only got Stuck once.. A  small Alder Whip didnt bend over like it was supposed to... Heres a  few Pix......

Almost went over the edge........Ready to go after a 1/2 hr of  shovelin.....

This Stuff is Wet and Heavy

John Playin Submarine again.......;-)
Goin up was  easier If ya had a Good Sled .....Comin down was something else..............................
I didnt even try it..... I dont  function well If I cant see if My Sled is Still under Me  .....
I  took a  lotta pix...... but  I still need more practice......just cant seem to  get Action Pix right......Only 1  Broken Windshield, 1  Sore Knee, and 1 Sore Wrist........Only a  couple of "Unplanned Dismounts"..........................And no Record to Show for It

This Last Pix tells the story of Our Day

AND IT HAD......Makes me feel bad we had  to Cancel the early  AM ride.......The early AM Group had headed to Lost Lake....I'm guessin they had a  great time.......Eric went with us to Dollar Pit.... We tore it up prettty good......Eric headed back....Harold  and I  headed on up..... Mostly a Reconnaissance Mission ...... We only used up 1 hill......
