I Apologize  for Not Gettin Anything up this Winter  
.... I've been Doin Too Much Firewood and a Lotta Snow to Plow and Not Enough Riding...

    November 25, 2003  Up 44

    I got in a quik ride on Thanksgiving Morning.... Unloaded at Little John and  Headed over to Billy-Bob....  and back around by way of High Prarie,  Then back over the hill East, back to Billy-Bob then North by way of the Knebal Springs way.... Never saw a Soul..... A few Tracks I'm guessing from the day before.... No Rigs parked in either Lot....Anyway, I was gone from my Rig for 1 Hr  and Racked up 62 Miles... No Pix
The Snow was as Perfect as I've ever seen for Fast Running


    December 20, 2003   Up Green Point Creek
Sorry if I got Euillio's name spelled wrong.......
 Corey, Euillio, Kirk, And I headed up Green Point on a Sat Mornin, A little Cloudy, Snow was a little Wet and some Pretty Good and Deep 4x4 Ruts for a few miles.

Got a good Start... The Ruts made the Run a little more Challenging

We Got up there Ok and Played on a  couple of Hills.... The Snow wasnt as deep as we'd have liked...It has turned warm on us earlier in the week...and had settled a bunch

Kirk got it right up this hillside just fine..... His SnowHawk would  probably have worked better right here this particular Day.....Thats  probably the only place this today tho ;-))


I think this was Euillio Jumpin off this cliff.... Ya had to be kinda carefull.. the Stumps were Bitin a Bit this Day


I think this was Corey... He was into the hill a little too much and Washed Out a bit
He needed a little help gettin turned back down..... Looked good for a bit tho...

We headed back all Tuckered out

    The Farrings got out for a bit of Deep Snow Riding (Diggin) in early January.....Several times I hear....hehe

I Aint got too many pix, but Mary Lou got stuck for a bit,  here.....;-))

Dont Ya just hate it when this happens...And to hear Our Pres tell it, It happened more than Once..
And I missed out on all the Fun....Think I was wise to set out the Deep Snow during this period ???....Am I'm gettin too old for this ?   ;-))

   
     In Early January we got a Whopper of a Snow Storm

We had about 3' of settled snow when it quit Snowin.. Banks were gettin a little high for my Pickup Plow... My Ford Pu and Bravada got Lost in there Somewhere

Things Warmed up A Lot up High and Melted a bunch.... We in "The Valley" stayed Froze up for a  While.... Thanks to the East Winds  down the Gorge Damning up the Cold Air in the Valley and not letting it  Out


    February 7, 2004  on  44 at Billy-Bob Sno Park

    The Columbia Gorge Power Sledders had a Poker Run.....Billy-Bob Snow Park was Full.. Little John had a Lot of Rigs too... I kept forgetting to take Pix .. Damnit.......There were some Really Neat Prizes too......And I think I Won more than  My Share...... It  was a  Fun Day.... I was in the First Group Out and we had a lot of time to enjoy the Day...... I  Put the  First Tracks on Every Hill in the Area.... There was 4-10" of New Snow on Perfectly Groomed Trails too......

The Weather Coopereated Beautifully ...

And A Good Time Was Had By All
