A  bunch of Us , Dave, Kenny and his Son,Norm, Mike, and I  took off on a short Notice Ride... We went up 17  about 2 miles from home.... The Sun had come out... It was   Beautiful....Ya  could see forever....

We wandered up to Bald Butte first

From Bald Butte toward the Upper Valley and Mt Hood

From there we headed up to Long Prairie....  then Gibson Prairie...and on to
Mill Creek Ridge... Snow was a little Heavy down in the Canyons...There had been some kinda 4x4 thru there before the last snow....First Sled had to work at it a  bit.... We  got  to

    Back to 17 and on to Brooks Meadows...We went east on 44 by Bottle Prairie
and on around the back way to High Prairie..... Snow got colder and lighter up there.....We even got stuck a few times... Mostly Dumb Sticks...hehe

    We Cruised  every Prairie, Meadow, and Butte we  could access Legally

    I'd called Chris.. it  was short notice..... He  got up with a friend later
and we met on our way back......It  was a beautifull Day, enjoyed by all
we  got in about 56 miles in all from Wet Warm Snow at 1800'down low to Deep Powder up Above about 6000'

An Update:   I tried Little John SnowPark  Sunday afternoon.... The Rains had washed all the snow away at the Park...Guessing the west face on the road going up has a lot of bare pavement too...... I went back down and up 17... all the way to the Owens Ranch....Wasnt too bad from there on up....I headed to Brooks Meadows ....We had Packed the Snow down on the previous Tuesday..... It was Smooth and Hard....Almost Ice.... I wouldnt recommend it till we get some more show....I had my Scratchers down the whole way.....Was on the verge of Overheating the whole way..... Fan Sleds  would be OK..... A little hard on Hi-Fax tho
Any New Snow on it and it'll be Great Riding Again

Finally got some Graphics on GGII.... I'll run it this way for a while and see if I Like it...
