Mitch and I went went back up on Red Hill Sunday....It was still 60 degrees at the House at Midnight Sat night......Wind was Howling, Raining like mad.......Sometime later it turned Colder
It was 40 a home and a trace of Snow at The Meadows Sunday AM.....It was fairly late to get up a big group...
A lot of the  guys had already made other plans....It was Stormy, and Windy... The Sun came out a few times for a few seconds.... Spittin Snow most of the time..... The Snow had Froze up again and was a bit Icy .... Just had to watch it ..... Didnt get too many Pix....

Mitch did a little playin in Dollar Pit..... Landings were a  little harder than usual....hehe

    Tho Ya could go anywhere....Just enough New Snow to get around good....

    We wandered on up to the Top of Red Hill........we were just barely under the Cloud Layer and  couldnt see the Mtn at all.... the  Wind was Howling up there......
    We dropped down thru the trees to the Small Meadow and thru the Saddle and on around to the Rocky Point over looking Laurence Lake.... Weather looked pretty good on the East Side of the Valley.... The Snow Level is movin  a little higher everytime I  come up here
I hope to be at this spot on the 4th of July..........Last Yr I made it up here on Memorial Day

    We headed back across the ridge and dropped down thru an older Yarder Unit and got down on the Blue Ridge Road and  followed it  on around to the head of the Pinnacle Ridge Trail.....

    We dropped down in the the Hole I had been in Friday....The Light was bad back there so I  didnt get much in the way of Pix in there.....I did get this one of Mitch breakin over the top
Were making some passes on the  HillMitch  headed up
and I decided to see if I catch him  and  break over beside him....  He  had slowed down a  bit to  test the break...... I was  full throttle..... I  passed him just before  we  broke over........I dont generally
try for Big  Air..... There was a  small lip right at the break..... I guess I  got some  Good  Air....
and a Good Landing......I probably topped  it  goin at least 50 MPH Ground Speed...Way Faster than Neccessary.........  Mitch said  it looked  Awsome...........He  didnt even know I was there till I Flew by I'm about 20' off to his  side .........hehe..... I never get any pix of me much ..... I'm always  takin the Pix.....
 
    The Boodockin was  Awsome.......The Snow was as deep as I'd ever seen it.....  all the  Small Trees are Buried and not there to get in the way.........The Access from the Red Hill Side is going to go away
in a couple of weeks....Our Normal way is melted out already and had to drop down the next Unit west  of it..... and Its gonna melt out the next warm spell too......... I keep tryin to find a way off Red Hill down a  Draw to get over there in the Late Spring..... I aint  found it yet.........The only other way in there is  by way of the LoLo Pass Rd, and  thats  Iffy too.....  Lots of Bare Spots in the open and 4' of Snow in the Protected Areas......
